ArchivesTurnover proves costly for Wolves
By RODNEY WHITE Turnovers can change the complexity of a football game in a hurry. This proved to be the result Friday night as the Golden Wolves lost their second game in a row, in a defensive struggle with the Littlefield Wildcats. Both teams traded punches in the first quarter but the game was a no score until the last six minutes in the first quarter. Tone Gonzales stepped in front of a Littlefield receiver at the 41 and was led by a group of blockers into the end zone to put the Wolves on top 7-0 after the extra point kick by Oscotty Castro.
