The Dallam Extension Education Association (EEA) has begun preparations for the Annual XIT Arts and Craft Show. The event has been scheduled for Saturday, August 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of 7th Street and Rock Island.
EEA wants this year’s bazaar to be bigger and better than years past. The venue will host a variety of exhibitors from the tri-state area, however, the EEA is still accepting applications for booths and groups seeking a location for a fund raising opportunity. Artist and crafters from Dallas, Dalhart, Amarillo, Texline, Hartley, Dumas, Canyon, Vega, Farewell, Panhandle, Guymon, Roswell, Clayton and Tucumcari will offer jewelry, boutique clothing and accessories, home décor, pictures, signs, wooden furniture, metal furniture, containers and works of art, gourmet foods, clothes, crosses, kitchen-wares and cutlery, dolls, candles and quilts and this is only the beginning of the vast line-up of items the vendors will offer to tantalize XIT visitors.
