Dairy Month, traditionally celebrated in June, is an exciting time in Dalhart when special events are held to inform the public about the dairy industry, and dairy producers are honored for their hard work in this essential field.

The dairy industry is an integral part of the Dalhart community, so Dairy Month is particularly relevant in our area.

Numerous local dairy industry organizations reach out to the community during June by hosting the annual Dalhart Dairy Festival which provides the public with a special look into the dairy industry and fun ways to enjoy dairy products.

Also in celebration of Dairy Month the Dalhart Texan will feature a special edition in late June, spotlighting the local dairy industry.
