Homecoming week and candidates announced

Students from each class at Dalhart High School nominated their choices for 2010/11 Homecoming King and Queen. In all, four girls and four boys were selected and received the greatest number of votes from each class. Each class nominated one set of seniors as their candidates.

Bullying in school

During the regular meeting of the Dalhart Impendent School Board held on Monday, August 30, a parent came forward to discuss bullying in school that has affected his children. The parent, a father, stated that he was asking the school board for help to figure out a way to put a stop to the problem.

I am wondering if the State of Texas would ever have a “same sex” marriage law like in California.
Question: I am wondering if the State of Texas would ever have a “same sex” marriage law like in California. I think it’s called a civil union. Could that ever happen in Texas?
